Hello. Did anyone succeed in viewing quicktime trailers through HAVP ? For me it works through squid but not if I enable HAVP. For example, the following page: http://www.apple.com/trailers/touchstone/apocalypto/small.html It just displays a question mark, and the movie doesn't play. I tried to enable the STREAMUSERAGENT option, but still not working. Any hint would be welcome. Regards jb PS: my users are on Internet Explorer |

Are you using transparent proxying? I have QuickTime Alternative 1.71 and I don't even see any option anymore for HTTP Proxy. Cheers, Henrik |

Ok with Automatic settings it seems to use the proxy. The strange thing is it doesn't even work with Paros Proxy (which I use for web debugging), only with Squid. Also the Plug-In doesnt seem to send any real specific User-Agent, so STREAMUSERAGENT doesn't work. I'll see if I can figure it out.. Cheers, Henrik |
