Hi

I found this in the logs:

09/09/2006 09:32:47 127.0.0.1 GET 200 http://liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.co ... cfull2.x86 400+12673452 VIRUS ClamAV: Trojan.Aavirus

I downloaded the file to a mac and checked it with sophos (sweep) and it didn't a virus in the file. Downloading it to a linux box, clamav still find a virus in it.

Have I to be worry about this? Or is it safe to allow Symantecs downloads without scanning them?

Probably Symantec doesnt properly encode the virus signatures, so thats why it is detected. Nothing to worry, you should whitelist it.
