Hi I found this in the logs: 09/09/2006 09:32:47 127.0.0.1 GET 200 http://liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.co ... cfull2.x86 400+12673452 VIRUS ClamAV: Trojan.Aavirus I downloaded the file to a mac and checked it with sophos (sweep) and it didn't a virus in the file. Downloading it to a linux box, clamav still find a virus in it. Have I to be worry about this? Or is it safe to allow Symantecs downloads without scanning them? Regards ST |

Probably Symantec doesnt properly encode the virus signatures, so thats why it is detected. Nothing to worry, you should whitelist it. Cheers, Henrik |
