HTTP Anti-Virus Proxy

Hello

I try to download something from a restricted area of Borland (User and pass neccessary):

URL is: http://cc.borland.com/Download.aspx?id=21314
(you should get a prompt for pass and user here). But after you enter the credentials I get an error from squid (ok, in german - I translate parts in "[...]"...

FEHLER [ERROR]
Der angeforderte URL konnte nicht geholt werden [The URL cannot be accessed]

Während des Versuches, den URL
NONE://127.0.0.1:8080http://cc.borland. ... x?id=21314
zu laden, trat der folgende Fehler auf:

Squid hat keinerlei Daten auf diese Anfrage empfangen.

[Suqid did not receive any data]

Generated Wed, 20 Sep 2006 14:20:49 GMT by web-proxy (squid/2.5.STABLE9)


squid.log says:
1158762049.967 19715 192.168.40.40 TCP_MISS/502 1393 GET http://cc.borland.com/Download.aspx?id=21314 - ANY_PARENT/127.0.0.1 text/html

but access.log of havp does not show it and havp.log shows no error at this time.

I am accessing HAVP via Squid. Everything else works fine and the URL does work without HAVP.

Any ideas ?

Hi, hard to say.. maybe something with squid conf? Would need to see it.

squid.conf - parts of it:

acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
cache_peer 127.0.0.1 parent 8080 0 no-query no-digest no-netdb-exchange default
acl Scan_HTTP proto HTTP
never_direct allow Scan_HTTP
cache_peer_access 127.0.0.1 deny !Scan_HTTP
cache_peer_access 127.0.0.1 allow Scan_HTTP
cache_peer_access 127.0.0.1 allow all

I would try first upgrading to newest Squid, you have quite old one.

Unfortunately an upgrade is not possiblem right now.

I would suggest this then in the mean time As it's the only one bugging?

acl NoScan dstdomain .borland.com
always_direct allow NoScan
