Post subject:  compiling issue 2: "cannot find -lz"

hi all,

after "./configure" (without any problem) and "make" i received beside some compiler warnings following error:

"/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/4.1.0/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lz"

i assume that the linker can't find something. i've checked if all mentioned libs are available inside the mentioned directories => it's OK. when i remove "lz" from the makefile i receive the same error with the next mentioned lib.

i also use SuSE 10.1 with gcc 4.10.

what's going wrong and how can i i fix it?

thank's in advance for help, josef

You can remove all -lxxxx except for -lclamav..

I'll see if this can be cleared up in next version. The compile system is a bit quickly put together. :)
