The package would not set up properly in Edgy, so I have tried to remove and reinstall it as it has requested. It does not work. Could you please let me know how to remove it from my system. I had tried to use a newer release of HAVP from Debian to try and fix it but it did not work either. Here is my terminal output:

Well, "sudo mkdir /var/run/havp" before that might help. 8)

I would do this too before trying to install the new package..

(sudo) echo "exit 0" > /etc/init.d/havp
