I use HAVP 0.83 and nod32: nod32lms-2.16-2.i386.rpm. I use such old version, because old version of nod32 not need to have a license key.
HAVP can`t to connect to /tmp/nod32d.sock. HAVP starting and in log file:
09/12/2006 15:28:31 === Starting HAVP Version: 0.79
09/12/2006 15:28:31 Change to user havp
09/12/2006 15:28:31 Change to group havp
09/12/2006 15:28:31 --- Initializing NOD32 Socket Scanner
he tried to connect to nod32d socket.
HAVP don`t report about error, he trying to connect unlimited time and use the CPU ~100%.
I think, it is a problem of nod32, but can`t test, because i don`t have a license key to a latest version of nod32lms.
From manual:
Quote:
NOD32
-----
Tested with Linux Mail Server and Linux File Server packages.
File Server version can not display virus names.
Daemon is required to be running.
what version of nod32 needed?

I think, what old version of nod32 use another interface to work with socket. May be source file: nod32scanner.cpp not work old version of nod32?
PS: I am sorry for my bad english...
