I'm using HAVP 0.83 (Gentoo Linux). It seems, there are still problems with HTTP/1.1 pipelined requests (similar to viewtopic.php?t=69).
If someone uses apt-get to update his ubuntu-installation, HAVP gets "confused" about other peoples requests. Although someone other requests i.e. http://www.google.com, he will get a white page in his browser.
HAVP log says, that he requested an ubuntu-update-site (and not http://www.google.com).
Waiting about 3 minutes helps (or restarting HAVP).
After adding "Acquire::http::Pipeline-Depth 0;" to /etc/apt/apt.conf the problem disappears.

Yes seems there are some problems with TCP handling.. I tried stress testing apt-get and browser for 10 minutes, and finally got the browser to "see" some request from apt-get.

I'll try look into it..

Same here, thought it could be my setup as havp is running inside a virtual host. I've tried to break it down, but no success so far. I think apt-get could be one reason to get a blank page, but it's not the only thing. I've to restart havp every morning to let it work. Semms that all havp processes are zombies, no log entry on request, nothing. Sometimes firefox wants to load a bin file while opening google. Restarting havp works, sometimes I've to clean firefox cache to get google.de. Running havp 0.83 in transparent proxy mode on debian etch.
Would be nice if this could be fixed ;)

Thanks a lot, this works.
No need to restart havp and downloading does not cut files.
