Post subject: | Problem: No buffer space available |
This is from the HAVP log: 06/02/2007 10:25:11 Could not connect to server (www.bbc.co.uk:80) 06/02/2007 10:25:12 connect() failed: No buffer space available It happens with many sites, and then later on, it works ok! Using ipcop+copfilter. Here are some details about the system: Disk usage: Device Mounted on Size Used Free Percentage /dev/root / 1524M 219M 1291M 15% /dev/harddisk1 /boot 9M 7M 3M 75% /dev/harddisk2 /var/log 4478M 234M 4017M 6% Memory: Size Used Free Percentage RAM 451176 430792 20384 95% -/+ buffers/cache 296872 154304 65% Swap 32764 0 32764 0% shared 0 buffers 65932 cached 67988 It seems that there are no problems with disk or memory. The computer is an 400 Mhz Celeron (quite old), running most of the copfilter services. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Eli |

Never seen this.. could be problem with your network card / drivers / runaway process. Hard to say, googling didn't reveal much.. |

Post subject: | ARP problem |
Found searching that it could be ARP buffers that are getting exhausted, with a suggestion on how to change the configuration in ipcop. Done that, and it seems to work. (sent you a private message on this respect). Thanks. Eli |
