Hello all,

after i have installed clamav 0.90.1 the following message appear while starting HAVP.

Starting HAVP ...
Starting HAVP Version: 0.85
/usr/local/sbin/havp: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/sbin/havp: undefined symbol: cl_load

and in havp.log is

07/03/2007 01:56:41 === Starting HAVP Version: 0.85
07/03/2007 01:56:41 Change to user clamav
07/03/2007 01:56:41 Change to group clamav
07/03/2007 01:56:41 --- Initializing ClamAV Library Scanner
07/03/2007 01:56:41 ClamAV: Using database directory: /var/lib/clamav/

I'm using libclamav scanner.

After I have changed configuration to use clamd scanner, it seem that it works.

Peter.

Did you remove all old ClamAV libraries before installing it?

Hello,

hmm. I followed instruction from clamav official webpage.
ran make uninstall;
downloaded new version, ran ./configure,make,make check,make install
and then after i had read upgrades notes I had run ldconfig -v.
http://wiki.clamav.net/Main/UpgradeNotes0901

Could it be problem with ldconfig configuration?

Thanks.
Peter.

Have a look at /usr/local/lib and see if there are any old libclamav.so's around. You can see it from the date.

Hello hege,

in /usr/local/lib was everything OK, but in /usr/lib was symbolic links to old libclamav.so.1.
So i have created new one, which points to updated version of libclamav and now it works..

Thank you for your help and for quick response!

Best regards.

Peter.
