Hi,

I see a lot of 'RAR module failure' messages in havp.log - users also complaint. I traced it down to the RAR 3 licensing issue in libclamav (http://www.clamav.net/doc/0.84/clamdoc.pdf).

Is there a way around this? Maybe using the suggested 'clamscan --unrar clam-error.rar' for RAR files?

What version of ClamAV do you have? I think 0.88 doesn't even create RAR errors anymore and just reports them clean.

Anyway..

In HAVP 0.77 and older you can make HAVP ignore the error before compiling:

Comment out this line from default.h
#define CATCHONSCANNERERROR
Like this:
//#define CATCHONSCANNERERROR

HAVP 0.78 will have option in config file to ignore errors.
