Here is a verystrange error after download new pattern lpt$642.prn Reload database when havp stilling running: 10/08/2007 07:49:39 Trophie: VSReadVirusPattern() failed: -3 10/08/2007 07:49:39 Trophie: Database reload failed 10/08/2007 07:49:39 FATAL: Library Scanners failed database reload, stopping HAVP!10/08/2007 08:13:26 === Starting HAVP Version: 0.86 New start havp : 10/08/2007 10:02:04 --- Initializing Trend Micro Library Scanner 10/08/2007 10:02:04 Trophie: VSReadVirusPattern() failed: -3 10/08/2007 10:02:04 Error initializing Trend Micro Library Scanner! The problem only happened on current cpr pattern , not known how about new one. The previous one is working well. Trophie: Loaded 214352 signatures (pattern 4.642.06 / engine 8.500-1001) |

never mind after upgrade pattern to new one , it is working again. |

Strange , failed again , it is failed again , even move pattern back to offical relase , not cpr version still causes reload failed . I don't have any problems with trophie.. are you sure the new pattern file has read permissions for havp user? Are you sure it's not some 0-sized failed download? The download script has to be very careful. |

I have check everything , only some pattern version causes the problem. For example , official release 651. sometimes the problem will solved in next version pattern. I can use Trophie with pattern version 647 without problem. |

I can sure it is some pattern format incompatible. I guess the only thing that could help is first testing the pattern and not loading if it fails. Before I manage to do this in HAVP, you should test the downloaded pattern with trophie itself. As it doesn't seem to be online anymore, here it is: http://havp.hege.li/download/trophie-1.12.tar.gz |

Again,havp load pattern fail I try to use Trophie , same error message. pattern version : CPR , sometimes final version also has same problem pattern 4.836.01 / engine 8.500-1001 /etc/iscan/trophie VSReadVirusPattern() failed (return code: [-4]) Any idea ? |
