Hellow,

I have problem with AVG free virus scanner.
AVG 7.5 filling my log file (var/log/messages) with messages:

Oct 6 00:56:30 avgscan[3070]: connection accepted from 127.0.0.1:60776
Oct 6 00:56:30 avgscan[3070]: Connection closed
Oct 6 00:56:31 avgscan[3070]: connection accepted from 127.0.0.1:62312
Oct 6 00:56:31 avgscan[3070]: Connection closed
Oct 6 00:56:31 avgscan[3070]: connection accepted from 127.0.0.1:62824
Oct 6 00:56:31 avgscan[3070]: Connection closed
...

I try to disable logging, but AVG don't have that possibility.
I configure syslog to save AVG logs to file /var/log/avg, but messages in /var/log/messages remains.
What should I do?

Well, if there is nothing related to logging in avgd.conf, then you must use syslog-ng and filter out such messages..
