Hi,

I try to apply F-Prot version 6 for linux mail server with HAVP,
but no lucky.

Here is issue from havp log
--- Initializing F-Prot Socket Scanner

Indeed v6 has changed protocol..

I added automatic support for it, and also a FPROTOPTIONS parameter.

If you'd like to test:

http://havp.hege.li/download/havp-0.87pre.tar.gz

Hopefully the old version still works with that code, can't test it right now.. :)

still no go for version 6 , does there anything I need to check ?

Same error?

What does it say when you: telnet localhost 10200, and type "HELP"?

Did you restart HAVP after upgrading F-Prot? :)

It does work here, exact same output..

sorry for my fault , it is working well for old one and version 6 both.

the problem causes by use conflicted havp 0.87pre version
after upgrade to new one, it's fine here ,too.
