I'm using clamav with havp. All the website that can reachable by http are scanned, according to the logs. However, I can't access website via https. With IE, it only displays the 'Page cannot be displayed' error. With firefox, the error message is 'The connection to some_https_website_url was interrupted while the page was loading'. In the havp.log, I have 'Mailformed request received' with each https access.

Any advice please?

Thank very much for the software :)

Hi, HAVP does not support HTTPS protocol until next version.. and naturally you cannot scan it in any case because it is encrypted.

So you should remove havp from IE HTTPS proxy setting, that would be easiest fix.

Cheers,
Henrik

First of all, thank you very much for the prompt reply :) Much faster than some of the paid support I purchase.

Can the https scanning bypass be configured in havp.conf file?

Thanks again :)

No, but next version can be compiled with ./configure --enable-ssl-tunnel option so you don't need to touch IE settings..

Cheers,
