Hello!

Finally I've got ClamAV 0.93 compiling without errors on a IPCop Developement-Machine after updating 'zlib 1.2.3' - everything seems to be ok.
ClamAV starts with no errors...:

The same with HAVP 0.88, compiling seems to be error-free, but it won't start:

Is it possible that the Signature-Files need a "special" 0.93-update or am I doing something wrong?
This machine has *no* internet connection, its for Developement only, but I'm still suspicious to install the new ClamAV and the new HAVP on my "productive" IPCop, until I know exactly what the problem is.

Any hints are greatly appreciated...

It's obvious that your signatures are not correct, there should be 200000 and not 15000...

Clean your sig-directory and run freshclam (somehow). Or add eicar to your custom signatures if you have such.

Solution:

1. Read the Changelog...one more time... :oops:
2. Deleted subdirectories 'main.inc' and 'daily.inc'
'Readme' from ClamAV-Archive:

- main.inc and daily.inc directories are no longer used by ClamAV; please remove them manually from your database directory

3. Copied 'main.cvd' and 'daily.cvd' from ClamAV-Website to '/var/log/copfilter/default/opt/clamav/virdb'
4. Reworked 'clamd.conf'
'Readme':

- NEW CONFIG FILE OPTIONS: MaxScanSize, MaxFileSize, MaxRecursion, MaxFiles
- ** THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS ARE NO LONGER SUPPORTED **: MailMaxRecursion,
ArchiveMaxFileSize, ArchiveMaxRecursion, ArchiveMaxFiles,
ArchiveMaxCompressionRatio, ArchiveBlockMax


Together with many other improvements and changes, both HAVP 0.88 and ClamAV 0.93 are now running...
