Post subject: | HAVP and Kaspersky Antivirus |
Hi every body, I am about to configure HAVP to work with Kaspersky Antivirus. In virgin HAVP Config file we can see the following: ----------------------------------- ##### ##### Kaspersky Socket Scanner ##### ENABLEAVESERVER false # Path to aveserver socket # # Default: # AVESOCKET /var/run/aveserver ----------------------------------- First, which type of Kaspersky Antivirus can adopt well with HAVP ? [noticing above] Second, is there aveserver RPM for Fedora 8 ? Third, is there anything else needed ? |

Hi Hege, could you please tell me the version of kaspersky, which is supported by HAVP? I tried to implement Fileserver, Workstation, Mailgateway without any success. KAV Mailserver version is no way, because of needing MTA on same system. Any help would be nice regards |

I think, there is no chance, to get a running KAV Mail Server, because this requires a running MTA to get a successfull installation. I made some tests this week, but no chance. Whats about a workstation or fileserver version? Next week, a technical supporter of kaspersky is calling me back and I want to try, to get some protocol documentations. |
