Hi, I need a virus scanning reverse proxy to sit between an application server (Tomcat) and the outside world. The proxy should remove any viruses uploaded through the webapplication. Is this possible with havp? /s |

Not currently, because clients uploaded data (POST) is not checked. I think this will be in next version. Then you would need something like Squid to do the actual reverse proxying Client->Squid->HAVP->Tomcat. Perhaps we add a simple reverse function too. Cheers, Henrik |

No, reverse proxy is not supported and we only scan traffic from server to browser. |

Btw, does any one here know of a way to get a virus scanning reverse proxy like described above? mod_clamav and mod_streamav only supports input (GET) filter. I want to scan POST requests TO the application. EDIT: Just for the record, I've solved the problem using mod_security and clamav. It works like a charm. read how at http://www.modsecurity.org/documentatio ... tures.html Thanks, /s |
