A possibility to help reduce load with HAVP in the following configuration: Quote: client > squid > havp > internets
Configure Squid to go direct on all the major webmail hosts with virus checking. This would include Google Mail, Hotmail, Yahoo & regions, i.e. Code: acl already_checked gmail.com google.com hotmail.com live.com yahoo.com yahoo.co.jp yahoo.com.hk

I doubt you will get many requests to those? And most can use HTTPS anyway so they are not scanned.. you did redirect HTTPS redirectly to internet? Also, who can trust hotmail? 
PS. Was this a wish or a comment.. HAVP can do whitelist? Cheers, Henrik |
