Hi,

is it possible to introduce a second syslog level to mark virus warnings?

i.e.

SYSLOGLEVEL info

for normal havp messages,

SYSLOGVIRUSLEVEL warn

for viruses found.

Wolfgang

Hi,

Has there been any followup to this post? As part of my daily syslog analysis, which I tend to focus of messages of level WARN or higher, I'd appreciate if havp logged messages such as detection of viruses to this level.

Is that possible please?

Thanks,

Sean

Magic!

I compiled and installed, its running fine. I just have to wait for a virus :)

For the moment some I see some messages in daemon.log. Prior to the upgrade I also had messages in auth.log (i.e. with the auth facility).

Note: during the upgrade my (home made) templates were overwritten, white and blacklist was preserved, as was the previous config.

Thanks,

Yep.. as documented in INSTALL file. I don't know if it's visible enough. :)
