I'm having a problem in HAVP, it is very consuming and the RAM (of which I have 4GB) system by entering the times in the memory swap.
I am using the following settings:
SERVERNUMBER 200
MAXSERVERS 600
The problem is that the processes are growing but not when they are most used are still running on the server.
My average HAVP processes is around 240, but sometimes I peak 460, and low when the requests to the Internet, HAVP keep the processes running, and restart the server to return to normal use.
Is there any solution?

Thank you.

HAVP currently uses very simple forking, so it does not kill childs.

You could edit proxyhandler.cpp and change "requests > 1000" value to something small, it would remove childs a bit sooner. If I ever have time to release 0.92, I'll make if configurable..

If you are using clamav library, you could try changing to clamd. Then the childs wouldn't contain "idle" ClamAV memory.
