Hi forum , always it surprises to me of the utility that has havp with squid, is excellent , great work :D ..

I have proxy with squid+dansguardian+havp and works perfect, except by the part of transparent, when proxy adds havp the transparent I am stopped working

see my log

1308714444.645 38 192.168.10.4 TCP_HIT/200 1047 GET http://www.google.com/ - DEFAULT_PARENT/127.0.0.1 text/html
1308714448.592 43 192.168.10.4 TCP_MISS/200 1154 GET http://www.youtube.com/ - DEFAULT_PARENT/127.0.0.1 -
1308714451.141 41 192.168.10.4 TCP_MISS/200 1047 GET http://10.0.0.1/status?94 - DEFAULT_PARENT/127.0.0.1 text/html

when access to a page shows a page to me of havp that says HAVP The request is unknown: Invalid request

my network diagram es pc ====8080 dansguardian+ squid at 3128 + havp in 8090

and shorewall redirect loc 8080 tcp 80

it only works to me if I put proxy manual in each PC, but the transparent no, some idea that can be failing?

Well if your firewall redirects port 80 to DansGuardian, then _that_ is the transparent proxy.

There is no need to set TRANSPARENT to HAVP, since it does not serve user requests directly. It only acts as parent proxy for DansGuardian.

Hi , yes my firewall redirects all the traffic from port 80 to the 8080 of dansguardian , I explain my diagram to you

Proxy squid
http_port 127.0.0.1:3128 transparent

dansguardian
proxy ip 127.0.0.1
filter port 8080
proxyport 8090 (havp)

havp
TRANSPARENT true
PARENTPROXY 127.0.0.1
PARENTPORT 3128
FORWARDED_IP true
PORT 8090
BIND_ADDRESS 127.0.0.1

proxy works to me well is transparent with dansguardian and havp, but I put manual proxy in each PC does not work , if I remove the option inside of havp, proxy does not work to me is transparent, this is bug within havp?

why when active the option does not work proxy to me manual in the PC, is only transparent?

when a user surf the internet and has proxy manual only shows a page of havp and it does not surf the internet

that it can be happening, it is some bad configuration mine or he is bug?

If you chain proxies, then the first one (directed by iptables) must support transparent mode. Other proxies must not be set in transparent mode.

In your configuration there are atleast 2 transparent config which is wrong.

Clear? Other than that I cannot help you. I don't know about DansGuardian. Usually people have Squid first, I suggest you try that.
