Would be great if HAVP had support to redirect to other URL's when it detects a virus.

Ideally it would also send the following information

Virus Detected
Requested URL
Source IP (from X-Forwarded-For if necessary assuming in proxy sandwich).

Thanks! :D

Do you mean redirecting users browser to some page, or HAVP sending a request there for some own logging purposes?

Cheers,
Henrik

It would be great if it could redirect them to the page, if it happens to be a file download id like it if the redirect still happened, although the user wont see anything it does mean that the redirect page could keep logs.

Thanks alot!

Rachel :)

Have you tried using something like the following?

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; http://your-domain-dot-com/you-have-a-problem.html">

It will redirect to the new page almost instantly, and if you make the body of the file in "templates" blank, it will be hard to notice.

Of course, you can also make it pause for a bit on an informative templates page by changing the "0" to some other number of seconds.

Naturally this won't work if page is bigger than keepbackbuffer.. but Pauls idea for executable is good, I'll have a look.

Cheers,
Henrik
