HAVP project is pretty much frozen/abandoned at this time anyway.

Hi!
I´m not sure about the licensing terms, just check:
ArcaVir for Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD
Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic Linux / FreeBSD / Solaris
They could really improve the already excellent protection of ClamAV, AVG and F-Prot.
Keep up the good work 8)

I can confirm(developers word) that Antivir Classic hasn´t licensing troubles. Free for home use.
According to AV-Comparatives.org, this is the best free antivirus. It´s in the same league of Kaspersky, NOD 32 and BitDefender

Cheers :D

ArcaVir support is added to upcoming 0.84. Though it seems a bit awkward software and doesn't even seem to detect some big exploits like WMF. :)

I could not find any way to use Avira with HAVP. There is no useful daemon.

Cheers,
Henrik

Maybe it´s a bit awkward.

What a pity :( Is this like BitDefender free (only command line)?

So, the free scanners are limited to ClamAV, AVG, F-Prot and ArcaVir? What about Avast?
Although AVG and F-Prot have new engines that could improve detection rates dramatically according to AV-Comparatives.

Thanks for the feedback. You have a great product in your hands. xBSD support(pfSense) will make HAVP a must-have package for Unix.
