Hi. I use a parent proxy for havp. Sometime parent proxy goes down and all my connection are dropped.
Will be nice to set havp to check if parent proxy is alive and if not to disable parent proxy from havp.conf and restart havp (and of course when it's back to re-activate it again).

regards,
mark

Hello, we'll see if something like that could be added..

Though you could use Squid after HAVP, which would detect it already. So I'm not sure it's worth the effort to duplicate code in this case. :)

Hi. Thx for reply.
I use havp in Copfilter (IpCop).
Copfilter already use squid; using havp in "sandwich" mode and running two local squid instances is not an valid option (I think).
If you think it's worth, maybe you have enough time to implement it.
